The 'Rock Section'

The 'Rock Section'

After overnight rain the track was a little wet for the earlier races.

By the time the afternoon race came around the wind had dried the track out enough to make it almost perfect out in the fields.  I had a decent start on the Rmz -450 and soon moved into about 5th place. By the time we got into the woods I had moved into 2nd place. Paul Whibley had gapped the field early in the first lap.  Half way through the second lap I had caught him and put the pass on and tried to check out.  Charlie Mullins and I pulled out a gap and raced together for the last three laps.  On the last lap we battled hard and passed each other about 4 times, I got him for the final time about 2 miles from the finish.

I crossed the line for my 4th win of the season and have moved into the points lead.
